thats the very reason why those "boot camps" exist: they want more people in the field so they can push those salaries down. $75k is more than they want to pay. telling people to learn how to code is like the most overused bailout argument to any and all criticisms of the current economy to the point that it's become a punch line for many people. watching billionaires consolidating all the world's riches got ya down? learn to code.
while sure there might be job openings there atm for people looking for paid work, "learn to code" is no panacea, it's never going to fix any structural or persistent or wide-scale issues, it's only a slogan used to, as stated, 1) blame the poor or unemployed for their own misfortune and encourage them to "bootstrap" their way up, and 2) increase the supply of tech workers so the ownership class can overwork and underpay them more effectively
