Remastered isn't offered in a Mac Version. It would require Vmware or a Rosetta Translation to make things run & Even then it's laggy when you add a translation layer. People have explained to you multiple times why Remastered is shit and you still don't get it.
Blizzard turned its back on the community when it shut down the old servers & has been through almost 10 different ownership groups with in that time frame.
If the war2 Ship ever goes down, I will be on it with the Russians till the DAY I DIE! They're impressive specimens and have done more for War2 than any other company or country when it comes to War2. Only Djinkhan came close to matching what they contributed.
They've proven very smart and capable, i'm sure they could incorporate updated sprites and graphics if we ever want to do our own remastered.
Or if someone wants to pay some serious money. War2 Could be reverse engineered to make more substantial changes.... Or might be easier to start from Scratch.
Would love to See a Proper war3-war2 Hybrid with a 3rd race that doesn't limit your ECON with peon constraints or upkeep.
You can keep screaming until you're blue in the Face that somehow playing on Microsoft servers will somehow revitalize the community, but it's never going to happen for good reason. Microsoft can't even get their OS right, yet their subsidiary will revitalize war2? Social Media engagement and streaming is what brings in new blood. ~TSA~ has become a welcome addition to the community because of Szwagiers online streaming and youtube videos, not Microsoft.
War2 AI computer that can defeat top players in 1on1 or team play, would be an interesting spectacle for bringing in people to the community.
