Hotkeys

[Option] + [Return] = Switch between windowed and fullscreen mode
[Command] + [Tab] = Unlock cursor
[Option] + [Fn] + [Down Arrow] = Maximize window

Note: these hotkeys only work in game, not in the battle.net lobby


Supported macOS versions

macOS Ventura 13.4.1
macOS Monterey 12.6.7
macOS Big Sur 11.7.8
macOS Catalina 10.15.7

It might work on newer macOS versions too. If not, post here and report the issues

Thanks a lot for making this Mac version! It was working great for the last 2 weeks and then suddenly seems to have stopped working with this new error message after the bnet login part:

"war2mod.dl file not found"

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Oh lol so it seems like new update for auto download random maps
I tested it on windows and Linux Ubuntu it was ok, but seems like not working on Mac hhmmm
Need more testing but I not have Mac lol
So seems like it wasn't able to get file out from mpq, or it wasnt even able to copy it at all?
Do you have war2mod.mpq file spawn nearby in folder after join serv?
Maybe not had rights to write file in folder?
Check if u have this file

Hi Mistral,

The war2mod.mpq file is in the folder. I don't see permissions to write in the file/folder being blocked anywhere though. Anything else we can do to fix this?

ok we fixed
there was problem not exactly on mac but on HD version itself
wasnt able to get file out of mpq cuz was diff adress

I had to do some bigger changes to make it working with mistrals new update, I hope everything else is still working fine (Please let me know!)

Unfortunately everyone will have to redowload the app. I updated the links for the standard edition in the first post (Will reupload the full version soon too).

are you using the latest version and not the "old version"?

@JcNoob4Eva  I could never reproduce your bug, but I updated the download now with the latest files, maybe it'll work now


Other updates:
Comes now with latest widescreen patch
Changed widescreen resolution to a 16:10 one (960x608)
Window size is now bigger (Option+Return to enable)
Fixed issues with the map preview in game room (it wasn't working sometimes)
