But nobody ever steps up or say how to actually do it.

Mouse is retired and she isn't hosting it anymore nor did she inform anyone when she left or told us how to keep her server up and running.

No they don't.
People talk endlessly as you are aware but nobody actually knows how to host another server.
Anyone here is welcome to prove me wrong and if it's just a $$$ issue I'm more than willing to pay whatever the cost.

Mouse- isn't here anymore.
Claw- can't or wont do it. (I am close to the guy)
Tupac- has a server already. (Nobody is willing to play there because the guy has bi polar disorder and I don't trust him. Your welcome to move there)
Lance - Guy has a life and isn't going to do because he isn't willing to put the time in necessary.

In a few days the server will be back up and running and we will forget about making a new server.

lots of people know how to do it. very little have any interest in doing it.

i talked to fois a while back.. he had no interest in teaching me how to do it. but yes he knows exactly how to do it.

Let's not bring up random hypotheticals.
I did just speak to IL and the guy has a life outside of war2 and can't always spend a couple hours troubleshooting but has agreed to look at it in the next 24 hours.

We could make a new server but as you have said you don't know how and you don't know anyone that is willing to assist so that is out.

The main reason there's been hesitancy in the past is because the majority of people that know how to do it do not support another server and potentially splitting the community up.

But it definitely would not be difficult thing at all for @iL to walk someone he trusted through the process of hosting a backup server if it was obvious the goal was not to take the current server over..

It's pretty easy to made a server, even myself probably would be able to do it, the probleme is not to make the server but make programmation for a client.
