2vs2 War 2 League - Season 1 Started

2 vs 2 League Season 1 (October)

- One season per month
- New teams every season
- Promotion/demotion feature
- Season ends on 31st October 23:59 CET time

Season 1: First 2 teams from tier 2 will be promoted and last 2 of Tier 1 will be demoted.

There is not fix date to play, its free for the players to find each other. However I can make two dates to a catch up of games in case that the teams are having problems to find their games.

Rules season 1

- Teams will play on 3 maps against each other in their Tier only.
- Prizes Tier 1 division only: #1 team USD 100 each  #2 team USD 50 each
- First season only: Players will be allocated to the best divisions according with their skill level, the bests on the top.
- Next seasons: New joiners will start always from the last Tier
- Disconnect: Pause immediately. The team which did not disconnect will have the decision to: 1) Declare which team win or 2) Rehost the game. If the another team don’t agree resume and continue the game.
- Leading will be defined by: 1) number of wins 2) best of head-to-head matches and 3) Number of games
- Even faster speed and High resources


Inscriptions for next season ends on 31st October.

Just for sake of clarity I will show an example of how it works season 2,3 etc...

As mentioned, 2 teams demoted and 2 teams promoted.
Lets say the season finish like this:

The idea behind is to have no more subjective criteria, based always on last season.
Also every season will split again better team and worst teams. Of course, with time, depending of results can have strong/weak teams but it will be always changing.

Baseless and Wild Predictions    ;

Tier 1 Prize Winners;

1) U8 / Maciek
2) Swift / Dj_boss
(This series will be close, 2-1 and series decider may come down to who gets the more awful spot on gow).
Swift / DjBoss were originally favored to win, but Team Poland may prevail.


3) Wargasm / Harrywangs
(Could easily finish 2nd prize, but Murphy's Law dictates that they get 6 and/or 8 on GOW more then once due to bad luck).


4) TheBoy / Talrand (Highly underrated but slightly outclassed in this Tier 1 Division).

5) Lux / Big D Goblin
6) Knitter / UN4


Tier 2 ;

1) Cavalo /Dobicon (team BR ftw)
2) Raz_ / Dudakurten (I would argue these guys could easily finish 1st, but Brazil will come through for the win.

3) Legend / Zoraxx (Legend seems good, idk Zoraxx, otherwise these guys could list higher).

4) Omed / Noobniko
5) Boogiemaster + Ally (Even Computer ally will help defeat 6) Team, np.
6) Kariu / Olengardd (odds are 99 to 1).

Maybe this needs to be revamped with only active players. It seems that is the problem. I know it's subjective-ish though.

Active Players: (not necessarily during this league but in the last... 2-3 months. Some might just be smurfing though)


U8, Maciek, Un4, Talrand, Theboy, Lux (kind of), Goblin, Harrywangs, Duda, Legend-, Niko, Boogie!?! (he smurfs), Tora?

Maybe half of the people are active and then you have those active with inactives. I'm not 100% sure what the answer is, or if there is one, but inactivity from players is the issue.

True its been a little hard.

Lets try a different thing:

Saturday 22/10/2021 21:00 CET time / 15:00 EST time all teams try to join to play the games. (Still have 2 weeks but lets try do not let to the last day)


Also there is one change that everyone is asking me to do:  to revert the order when chose the teams , #5 choice first instead of #1. Lets try on next season.

Please feel free for any suggestions, before first season I did a post per one month and nobody commented anything.
