2vs2 War 2 league - DRAFT Phase

2 vs 2 League Season 1 (October)

- One season per month
- New teams every season
- Promotion/demotion feature
- Inscriptions ends on 30th September 23:59 CET time

Rules season 1

- Teams will play on 3 maps against each other in their Tier only
- Prizes Tier 1 division only: #1 team USD 100 each  #2 team USD 50 each
- First season only: Players will be allocated to the best divisions according with their skill level, the bests on the top.
- Next seasons: New joiners will start always from the last Tier
- Number of divisions and promotion/demotion will be determined on the closure of inscriptions
- Disconnect: Pause immediately. The team which did not disconnect will have the decision to: 1) Declare which team win or 2) Rehost the game. If the another team don’t agree resume and continue the game.
- Leading will be defined by: 1) number of wins 2) best of head-to-head matches and 3) Number of games
- Even faster speed and High resources

i dont get why best players in tier1 get to choose first?
If you want to have balanced teams, worst player should choose first.

That makes no sense at all.

don't get me wrong your ideas are great.

But you're making a huge mistake here.
look, i'll try to explain.

Tier1 for example:

Swift, u8 , shotgun, lux, talrand wargasm

Swift is the best player, then comes u8, then lux, and so on....

now the already best player gets to choose first and takes the best player from tier2.

do you think that's fair?

The worst player from tier1 should be allowed to choose first which player he takes from tier2.
That's the only way you can get fair teams to begin with.

otherwise you have the best from tier1 + the best from tier2....

Indeed, could be reversal. I was actually doing in that way in some point but decided thé curent format later.

Its more thinking on the séquence as from the next season where the order of choice will be based in the results of the previous. E.g if swift + boss win they will have first and second choice on the next, therefore the winning team cannot be repeated. The same for the worst teams (the players will be moved to be chosen). It will be a constant change of "priorities" lets say. Also can prevent pple to think in finish on the last positions in porpose Just to have the first choices for the following.

This "manual" allocation it will be only in the first season. Also i believe that will be not make too much difference as there are 6-9 players on that list in a very similar level.

Also there are 23 players. Therefore the last one (the one which nobody choose - can be even me) will wait this season playing only the next, so cant do the "réversal" system for the second division for example.
