server is dying.

and stop whining about the ladder, it isnt the thing. ofc summertime is always a bit inactive but still.

when i log on there is like 20 ppl and 16 of em is idling.


the game is dying. ofc it has been dying over 10years. but we all love this game. lets do someting. every1 who has time/cash/interest. do someting. i still think admins have the  biggest responsibiiity.

anyway. this is not a negative post or tryin to flame anybody or any1. we seriously need to do something.




im playing 2 games. only 2 computer games thats all. i dont have consoles and i dont even try to learn new games. i play war2 and aq2 (action quake 2) they both r dying. im almost crying. save the oldies. quake 1 and war2 started online gaming. we were the FIRST ONES EVER PLAYING MULTIPLAYER GAMES ALL AROUND THE WORLD IN THE INTERNET..

about 2024 if this game is still alive I put some real money into marketing and for server too. Just right now i cant.

i forget all. i forget all bad things which have happened in the years along. the ppl who ive had fights, racists talks, hack talks, even swift. i do my part. i will play with every1. i forget the history and behave like every1 is one of us in this dying game. i also try to not boot so much nonames :]]
any nationality. any history. for me , everything is fine. koorb is an good example i fucking hated him and still hate, but i put that hate behind. if he joins my game. we will have war2 sex.

Only one way to save community -- Encourage over 200 new players to log on and play regularly.

Only way I know of to get 200+ new players is by spending "lots" of money advertising a "high dollar" tournament.

probably at least $2,000 in advertising for a $5,000+ tournament.

So unless anyone comes up with an advertising strategy, the money to execute the strategy, and then the money to fund a large tournament cash prize that is going to get people excited about coming .... Game is fucked.

Unless there are more active new playerss than there are current active old players, game is fucked.

current active old players is big part of why game is dying.

every time new players come, old players kick/boot/ban.

i rarely log on because i have less than 10% chance of logging on and joining a game in less than a minute.

people dont have patience.

Most want to log on, click "join" button, and see a game they can play... and then start the game soon, instead of waiting annother 2-3 minutes for people to join.

Now person hosting needs to wait longer for game, and smurf.... even though both wanted to play war2 to begin with.

Well, we are all old now and have hectic lives. HArd to get on and play like 4-8 hour straight. Our brazilian group have a whatsapp group where we can just hook up games so we dont waste time logging and staying there for over an hour without gaming. WAsnt there a World wide whatsapp group? If there isnt who has the most contacts here and can create one. WE have in our group around 12-14 people and atleast 8 are active players so we chat and schedule games since all are busy and have short time to play.

Just a thought.....

Like if nobody have ever try to save this game with money, i already told you, administrations are maybe not bad peoples, but they are definitly the ones killing this game by all there non sens decisions.

Change administrations and maybe youll save it, otherweise, keep wasting money, time and watch ur favorite game die.

Take a step back and try to understand why that is. Nobody cares about all the shit you claimed to do in the background once upon a time.
