the only forums that are heavily moderated that actually work are forums that are not active. they are the technical support type forums. the seasonal forums.

every other successful forum that is active year-round are the ones that have basically zero moderation.


people might say they want moderation, but what they really mean is they want OTHERS to be moderated. they dont want to be moderated themselves.

... wont take long for everyone to realize they'd rather go back to old shitty forums with no updates than get their threads relocated/threads split/get muted/get banned here.
