1) Israeli Jews are racist. They are racist against Arabs, black people, even against other Jews with darker skin.

2) The way Israel defines being a Jew for the purposes of Law of Return and other laws is heavily based on ethnicity and ancestry and is basically a modernization of Nuremberg laws defining Jewishness rofl (they technically consider converts to be "Jews" but legally its really mucky whereas if you have a Jewish mom you're in even if you converted to Catholicism at age 4 or whatever)
