libertarianism is pseudoscience
i don't think it postures as science, its all idealist religious type crap about "natural rights" and shit
they will make half hearted attempts at "scientifically" justifying the efficacy of their ideology (see: austrians) but when push comes to shove they will admit that whether the ideology "works" (i.e. doesn't cause society to completely collapse) is not as important as the fact that it is "right" because the extremely specific and narrow "rights" (especially property rights) libertarians think are so important are just things you are naturally born with and are woven into the very fabric of the universe itself. they will say this shit and then they will turn around and tell you believing in god is stupid, lol
