There is no reason why your maps shouldn't be considered, but you need to make that happen.

Hint: don't start by calling someone else's thread "bs crap"

Try starting by HOSTING your maps and giving people the opportunity to play them and decide if they like them or not. Just a suggestion.

its so hard to just choooseee 1 tho!!

i think one good thing with adding only one at a time though is that it will (possibly) get people focused on that one map for a period, and get it played more and get people more familiar with it, than if multiple maps were added at once and attention was spread.

But then the other maps you have could still be added the next time we add a map.

Maybe we could announce like one new ladder map a month and see if that gets the new map played on.  Could be a fun map designing competition type thing where the stakes are getting your map into the ladder pool.

so maybe at the start of each month we start a thread for new map submissions, maybe advertise it w/ a banner on the server for a few days, then have a vote at the end of the month after people have a chance to play them all? or alternative suggestions? only concern is the low # of people who will probably participate in a vote, though maybe if we advertise it well that would pick up

so is Divide & Conquer officially "IN" now? seems like a great map w/ plenty of people vouching for it. and then we can kick off the first open competition at the start of October
