I'd hide the IPs shown in the command lest someone like EQ decide to do something to them like DDOSing just to scare them away from playing.

Maybe they didn't know they wanted to play. That's where we come in!

So the new combat version has some sort of built-in hosting fix? Five new players is a good start! The website is actually getting a lot of traffic, we just need to start using it better. (i.e. coax visitors into downloading the client & starting to play.) I've got some plans for optimizing it that I'll be rolling out when I can, so hopefully the number of new users will only continue to grow. c:

I've noticed the host bot has been gone for a bit now. I think that is a very very important feature for new people because anyone who is new cannot host and I would say 80% of the people are unable to portforward/change firewall settings still.

Sorry about that, my internet service has been pretty spotty lately and no one's really had time to check up on it consistently to ensure it's running. I had an idea to automatically restart it every night, I'll try and set it up and hopefully that'll help.

i still think that autohosted (24/7) autostarting games for new players (start when theres 2 players) on a compstop dedicated map is an awesome idea to keep newcomers interested. the bot at start should give the 'how to ally' instructions, leave, rejoin bn and host another game. repeat forever until w2 takes over sc2 servers

Claw does make a good point as there are few host bots on SC East do that very thing.
