Yamon forgive me but I doubt you should ever give financial advice.
i'm sorry that someone on benefits is above and beyond way more educated than you.
i also know that social security is going to go under soon. But when that happens it's going to be the same time your investments are gone.

I do know religious texts. However my religious knowledge has little to do with the topic you started.
In what way are you more educated than me?

The stock market has been in existence im America for over 225 years and has been an essential asset to generating capital gains since its existence.
Anyone trying to grow their savings should own equities.

i'm not saying that it's impossible. I'm saying that it's risky with the ponzi scheme that they are implementing with the US currency. Also with BRICS there's going to be even more massive inflation.

And the US is trying to get in and demolish tons of Islamic nations, the axis of resistance to Israel:Iran, Pakistan, Jordan and Syria. That's why they're using North Korea as a stepping stone. A country with the GPD of West Virginia. I thought all Muslims were up on this.

Who cares its not important.

The stock market is not a ponzi scheme.
It is an essential tool all people who wish to retire comfortably use to grow their savings.
In 1996 someone who invested 50k in the Dowjones would see their nest egg grow to over 200k today.

A monthly savings of $200-$500 after 30 years would be worth $72,000-$180,000 in a savings account at the bank.
A monthly contribution of $200-$500 after 30 years would be worth $150,000-$600,000 in a IRA index fund.

There is a lot of speculation and trading in the stock market which can net someone huge gains or can have someone see huge losses. However realize the difference between trading and investing.
Take this bio tech stock. This is a trade

https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/SKPBF?p=SKPBF

It's gone up over 29% in one day. Someone that bought just 1k worth of this just yesterday would have seen their trade worth $1,290 today. ( $290 for just clicking a few buttons.)

There are people who just sit at their comp for 5 hours a day looking at charts and trading highly volatile equities. This is akin to card counting at a casino. Is it possible you can make money doing it? Yes. Is it likely you will? No.

Now let's say you saved $10,000 and you've decided you want to use this money for your future. Meaning you have no intention of touching this money for at least 5-10 years. There are literally 100s of companies you could invest your money in.

Investing money in any of these companies isn't a gamble. These corporations are making billions of dollars a year so it's a good idea to own shares in these corporations so you can share in their success.
