good news, everyone - forum updates apr 2017

We have a nice new responsive war2 forum theme. This will be the public theme for the forum & also used for all new users, but right now existing users are all still using the old theme, if you'd like to switch you can go to Profile > Modify Profile > Look and Layout and click "change" beside the current theme name.

we also have @mentions to let people know when you're talking about them in some thread, e.g. @mousEtopher

we also have a cool peon icon

Some nice changes I like the @ feature that is pretty cool. However I am still hoping for a color theme like the en.war2.ru main site or the ladder.war2.ru someday

I think the background war2 banner with the paper does not mesh well with the users/war2tv/en.war2.ru link

Also I know blid loves the war2 occult grunt but to me his horns look choppy.

themed forum to match the main site is probably never happening, sorry man. :< I adapted this one from an existing theme and it was still a huge amount of work. I also deliberately kept it like the old theme since it's familiar & well optimized for usability. any suggestion for the top graphic? more winter tileset maybe?

I noticed that the (new) tag which would take you to the first unread message is missing at the new skin.
Or perhaps I can not find it.

We could make a forum competition for smilies!!! This and are great!

Hmm, almost back... It appears if I go to the forum topic but not in the Unread.

I usually use the Unread button and then the new. (Like double filtering)
