Right, Nintendo is its own thing because it doesn't try to compete with the others that much in terms of hardware, it has its own niche and fanbase through its first party titles.

PS4 "sucks" in the sense that its not worth the money to me, I agree, but I am comparing it to the competition (XBone) and it is much better than the competition. PS4 has a couple good to great exclusives (though not enough for me to buy the console for $350), XBone has none.

I also don't compare to PC because comparing a console to a PC just isn't fair.

From what I remember, despite its great library, its not exactly selling that well so its not really inaccurate to call it a "bust" if that is the case. I could be wrong about the sales, however.

Hardware is somewhat important in that some of the best games of this generation, such as Bloodborne and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain probably would not play very well on the Wii U.

Do people still talk about Phantom Pain?  I thought everyone had moved on by now.  The jig is up for Hideo Kojima, as gamers and critics alike have finally realized he is serving up gibberish and sexual exploitation rather than "art."  Fired from Konami and ostracized by the gameing community, it is truly "game over" for Kojima.

Lmfao, just because the developers choose to make a game 1080p on one console doesn't make it better. For instance, not all games are worth being in 1080p since it can drop their frame rate, makes game play horrible.
