Is starfox for 3D any good? I remember the original was great on SNES and N64.

Starfox 64 is one of the best Nintendo titles ever made and its completely baffling to me they haven't done a new straightforward Starfox shooter like it since (that I'm aware of). Must be like Metroid and not sell in Japan or something.

Nintendo has handhelds on lock, but alas, I personally am not much of a handheld gamer in general. That being said I would still like a 3DS to enjoy the quality Nintendo first person titles, but can't really justify buying one when I barely have time to play the games I want to play on PC anymore.
