I saw Kanuks tonight, he was playing Warcraft 2.  Tested him by asking him an obscure smurf name he used to have and he remembered.

Hopefully he plays more than just once.

Hello everyone,

Was nice to play war2 with my buddy Tyrus last night. I think i was gone for more than 10 years. Last time i played online was in 2005 I think.

I did play a couple of custom scenarios during those years, tried to kill 6 opponents on gow bne and failed miserably. Must have tried that shit like 5-6 times. I used to be able to do it wayyyyy back. It's those fucking flying shits that fucks me up.

My mouse dexterity has slowed down a lot haha! Last night i was able to shake off the dust quite a bit. I still have problems with hotkeys, keep pressing I instead of O for ogres and F instead of G for grunts. So annoying! Oh and whats wrong with the bnet UI? It's like everything on the screen gets stacked onto and i can't read anything. Also Pink replacing Black is great but to me its almost the same exact color as purple. Thats confusing...

I should log on from time to time to play some games.

I confuse them too actually. You can change back to black by rerunning the war2combat installer and deselecting the option:


(No need to uninstall it first or anything.)

yea i just came around this weekend myself.
KPchayliss last logged a game 7/18/08, and i know that was after quite some time after alot of inactivity.
discord changed my interst in war2. gonna play some war2 while i attempt to build up Killer Peons clan for HotS because running with a full 5man squad is the only way to play.

now that i have placed on record the last time i put any decent time into warcraft 2 was 7/18/08 i will now drop an announcement.

Heh Kanuks. Wlcome back! You were one of the players I liked watching play One of the better LEGIT players who has played games vs Valkrie with the latter map hacking. You still gave him run for his money! Still have replays somewhere. I should look it and post it. This would inspire you to get back at your former level!

Thanks man. Yeah that replay is hard for me to watch. I was so ahead in resource and i slowly lose control of the game when he keeps timing all my attacks perfectly. Wouldn't even be close if he didn't hack. Damn Valkrie. Great talent even without the hacks but such an asshole overall.

I played a few games again yesterday. It went pretty well even though i doubt ill be able to get back to my former level Not sure if its a compatibility issue with the new widescreen monitors but the game doesn't seem as fluid as it used to be, even if i set up my screen at a 4:3 ratio.
