[done]Installing and Setting up to play
« on: July 03, 2016, 08:30:45 PM »
Hi there,

I downloaded War2Combat401 (ZIP) yesterday 7/2 and I started playing Warcraft 2 Just fine.  I did have a bit of trouble getting it to work but once I downloaded DirectX it seemed to work fine until this morning.

When I logged on my comp today, the game wouldn't load.  I click on War2Combat and I receive this error  "Direct Draw Error".  I am using an onboard motherboard GPU if that makes any difference.

Not sure what else to add.

Thanks,
DJTannerite

P.S.
Windows 7

Let's get me details on which ddraw.dll you replaced to fix the colors. Send me a link or the files you used?

I don't believe I understand what your saying.  I didn't do anything other than download directx and the files from War2 website.  I didn't intentionally do anything to the colors

So you download directx from war2? I think the only things we host related to directx is the color fixes, ddraw.dll.

You should get those files from microsoft, check for updates, restart pc, etc.
