I recently experienced a weird bug during war2 games on ru. Spoony and I were trying to play comp stomp games on low res... The point of mentioning the low resources is that I always seem to drop at the same point in the game. We experienced no lag at all and no connectivity problems while hosting/creating game/etc.

I doubt there is a network issue. I am wondering if something inside the exe is triggered after a certain period of time during the game? It seems to trigger the drop as I always dropped out of the game at 3 peons...

We both had AH on, so we must have the same version of the exe...?!

See if you guys get the issue with anti hack off. Then also try it with one person having anti hack on and off. Maybe you found a bug.

Looks like AI confict, when your computer do different things than his.
Can happen when one of you installed combat with AIE/campaign checkbox set to AIE and another one to campaign. Should happen only with computer players and only on AIE maps, but who knows what's comp stomp?.. Maybe it uses the same ai slots...

Try to reinstall combat and set/unset that checkbox into the same position.

Good Read IL, we actually resolved that on our own but you are right! We tried to play a game with computers on a normal map (we tried gow) and we could finish the game no problem. I then remembered that my friend hosted maps with new computer ai. I reinstalled with aie checked and it worked fine afterwards...
