Anyone else want to stream War2???
« on: January 01, 2015, 03:34:20 PM »
This site pretty much tells you exactly how to do it .. its not complicated if you follow every step. I made the mistake of skipping a step which is why it took me so long.

If you want to do it and want some help, I feel like i've made enough errors to know how to do it correctly now and i'd be more than willing to help. Lance probably will too

The setup I am using is Xsplit BROADCASTER & uscreen .. it's working out really well

Here is the site:

again. if anyone wants to do it and wants some help setting it up let me know.

i get this message when trying to install uscreen

This advertised application will not be installed because it might be unsafe. Contact your administrator to change the installation user interface option of the package to basic.

this is what google gave me when i typed in that error message:

"This could be because you're using Group Policy to install it (in which case change UI under Advanced Deployment), but might be a conflict with your domain policy. You can try using:

msiexec /i product.msi /qb
I assume you're running as a local admin, not domain admin"

you might want to sticky this post or make a more formal instruction page with supporting screenshots.

I used OBS and UScreen.  XSplit made the image tiny for me.

I used OBS and UScreen.  XSplit made the image tiny for me.

it did the same for me as well (i think we're talking about the same thing). My stream was only taking up like 25% of the actual viewable screen. With lance's help we were able to get it fixed. i think these were the steps that i didnt do correctly the first time:

Setting up UScreenCapture:
Unzip and install UScreenCapture

Unzip uscreencapprog_remove_cursor and copy the files inside uscreencapprog to your UScreenCapture folder.
This should be either in C:\Program Files\UnrealStreaming\UScreenCapture\ or C:\Program Files (x86)\UnrealStreaming\UScreenCapture\ on a 64bit system. It will alert you about replacing certain files.

Your UScreenCapture folder should now look like this: + Show Spoiler +

If it doesn't please download and copy over the files from here: http://www.mediafire.com/?haqo2qqdo6q9k59

Next step involves editing your registry so only do one of the following:

You do this by either unzipping and running this registry file (for 32bit Windows) or registry file (for 64bit Windows) or manually as follows:
