Hello, i want to say that i have found a way to get Coop working with cutscenes, briefings, scripts and all!!

I'm already working on the maps as we speak, i'm making them in the original PUD format to then convert into Wargus maps, as that's the only way it won't be regular "kill everything" maps.

I will, however upload the PUDs, when they are finished, and then later i will upload the maps for Wargus.

Stay tuned!

EDIT : Since i wrote this i've converted all of the maps to coop. It is not complete yet, as i've yet to add additional enemies & AI, but for those hungry for a coop experience, this should work in the meantime. https://www89.zippyshare.com/v/WL95LYrz/file.html

EDIT : Apperently Wargus' PUD converter is broken. The Wargus version will take longer than i expected.

EDIT: OK!!!!!!!! I got the wargus version working!!! I've not had the time to test it yet, so please inform me of any bugs!!

Hey i want to start this topic to start posting my new map series idea The 2p Coop Campaign, hope it is added to War2ru donwloads section, when completed.


2p Coop Campaign
The maps will remain same as original to maintain the nostalgic feelings, except that the enemies will be scaled to 2X to maintain the difficulty average. Also a 2nd player base, of set of units will be added with same starting conditions.

-Human.
01: Added ogres and Troll lumbermill to enemy, 2nd player base.
02: Added more enemies with more tower, 2nd player base.

-Orc.
01: Added knight and Elven lumbermill to enemy, 2nd player base.
02: Added knights, ballistas and enemy town hall, 2nd player base.

I working about 1 year 2 monts on triggers for war2.
Just in 1-2 monts this will be released in new version of Combat.
Trigger editor like in starcraft1 that loads triggers in pud file.

There will be many triggers like creating some units.
Change HP MP and other vals midgame.
Mana cost for spells and strength of upgrades.

Oh and even build new buildings like portal and runestone.
And summon heroes (Chogal, Alleria and the likes) from portal.
Runestones can be super powerful, like gives any unit who goes close some BLOOD or HASTE or FLAME SHIELD.
They can give effects to all units or only to units that owned to player who owned runestone.
And even maybe can instaKILL enemies who got close.
