The whole house was 1600sq ft. From the time I got there to the time I left was about 1.5 hours

I don't use high pressure, I use the right chemicals and low pressure and it cuts the time in half or more.

im not following..

most people who think of pressure washing actually think that using high pressure is how to get the job done with the best/most efficient results. that's the basic home owner mentality any way... but they're wrong.

if you correctly use the right mix of solutions and equipment you can get the job done with better time and results.

i just did a ton of research on it and figured out where the "pro" washers were discussing this information, and am doing my best to replicate/improve on what they've already established.

im using a "high pressure" washer, but im using custom nozzle tips that give me much better range (but greatly reduce the pressure). where the standard nozzles can only rinse and soap from maybe 8ft away tops, i can rinse and soap things from nearly 35ft away.

the key is gallons per minute and the right chemical mixtures, not how much pressure im working with.

yeah i make right around $100 an hour .. that's my goal when i bid the job. its been a really nice side business, i hope to continue growing.

Tk doesnt really play war2 all the time. Also he can correct me if im wrong but I beleive this type of work is seasonal. Which means there is a lot of down time.

I do drink, but rarely heavily..  only like 2-3 beers a night unless it's a weekend. Maybe a 6 pack on a Friday or Saturday night if I don't have to get up early.

And tora is right it's seasonal.  I wasn't on war2 much at all last april-September.

My business is still in its infancy .. last year was the first year I got really serious about it. I'm growing every year. This year I will have a part timer help, next year I would like to hire 2 full time guys.

On a very serious note .. the secret to success in my opinion is overcoming fear and being willing to take calculated risks. I've been researching this business for about 3 years and am still doing more research.  You wouldn't believe how many people have told me there is no money in it or acted like I was in over my head and I even questioned it all my self.  But always end up telling myself "if (whoever) can do it.. so can i" .. at this point a lot of my drive just comes from the desire to prove the haters wrong.
