I play war2 at 16:9 and my monitor is a 24" widescreen.  It looks better than 4:3 IMO.  It just takes some getting use to.  I stream it like that as well.

I agree, hate playing with the black bars. But, my stream still records at 4:3 which I think I prefer for replays. Your stretched stream/replays don't bother me too much though. Looks like tk's is set up the same way.
