War2Combat401.exe is new combat version  I m using it, but Im telling that problem there is still

yes, combat includes old ddraw that doesn't support win 8+
I'll update it in new combat.

I'd even say compatibility mode never helped me at all. Maybe only to bypass checking version if program do that...
