How about a donation to server can earn you a custom icon.
That's exactly what we're talking about. No one is going to be taking home money from this, it would just pay for the server for a little while instead of me and il. and it's a server icon, no one is selling War2

Well, no protest to change that value to someting reasonable. Just an order: $15 per month, is $180 per year. Also icon should be something difficult to deserve, expecially personal icon. To be the best on last tournament, or to be the most active player or to bring something sufficient to community. That is how i feel that.
I don't think $10 should be as sufficient as tournament top-1.
Also tournament icon is temporary (until next big tournament), i like that idea with temporary rewards. Otherwise we can get lots players with icons got years ago, nobody remembers why.
You're the best player - you deserve icon, you're the most active player - you deserve icon, you didn't play for years - yes, we remember you, but let deserve that icon again.

Web site for stats transfer / icons upload and so on.
Also interesting question about that package for the donater.
No ideas what to include there except icons.
