yep, personally i consider anti-hack + 24/7 compstomp hostbot to be two milestones for w2. And the very reason to start advertising it.
people tend to forget about the compstomp bot, but i think its way, waaay better for people who download the client to instantly see a game rather than all the "how do i join" "how do i host" "what mean forward ports" mantra thats been accompanying us for years. 2 player compstomp is enough to learn about the game & taste the multiplayer with a random player or a friend. good stuff
Make the fucking thing. I'M tired of hearing the one person with the knowledge to make this a reality complaining about how it doesn't already exist.
again, all i can do is a macro hostbot with some img search, memory edits etc. It will still take an entire machine to host it. I decided its pointless the moment tupac introduced me to his hostbot idea, which is stealthbot style. Infinite amount of hostbot sessions on one machine, working in the background.
and the documentation is so shitty that it instantly gave me headache, so i rely on tupac. Still, ive done some testing with little tupac when he asked me, so... anyone has the knolwedge to just test the .exe with him, yet only i (and archer, i suppose) did that, so who's lazy now!?!?

could figure it out if you wanted to. (I'm sure any idiot could learn stealthbot scripting tbh.) This is just one more thing that falls on either tupac or iL to do because no one else can or will, so every time you bring it up you're basically just torturing us with stories about rabbits on the farm..

You did! It was some months later though I think, as the result of some separate discussion that happened on the old forum, and neither of us were messing with the server much at that point. You're right that Claw was being sketchy when he asked, I remember that part too. xD
