I'd say he just invited people he considers worthy and then used the ladder to fill in regardless of skill levels, etc. For the most part the grid looks ok except for a few weak links. Example, SPB and Drax are for sure not on the same level as the rest of the field. Good players, but pretty much everyone on that list would 50-0 them. I dont really see any rhyme or reason to the grid skill level, seems to be all over the place really. Mix of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd tier players it looks like to me. I wouldnt consider it like a tier 1 event type of thing.
