I see, here's also a DOS-version with Simplified Chinese support. I mean that required some sufficient modifications. Original war2 uses 1-byte chaset, that means your can use an alphabet up to 255 characters or a little less.


That's very unfortunate. Is there someone able to modify the original war2 to support more chars? If so, Chinese and japanese or some Asian languages would be feasible to take action.

1 Chinese Character= 2 bytes
1 Chinese punctuation(full-width)=2 bytes

Hello, I did what you had said. The font was surely changed. But having been edited, the rez\human1.tbl was still in a mess. Here is the screenshot and the translated tbl for your preview. I am ready to start the translation of this game. Great hope for a nice font support!!! :thumbsup:

Good work! Thanks for your dedication. In fact, I must confess that I know little about the font, LOL. Luckily, I have successfully edited the rez\human1.tbl. But all the Chinese characters I inputed was in a mess. THE FONT, A BIG PROBLEM it is. I am wondering whether you can give me the Font support for the translation. Simply, a patch?
