Baseless and Wild Predictions    ;

Tier 1 Prize Winners;

1) U8 / Maciek
2) Swift / Dj_boss
(This series will be close, 2-1 and series decider may come down to who gets the more awful spot on gow).
Swift / DjBoss were originally favored to win, but Team Poland may prevail.


3) Wargasm / Harrywangs
(Could easily finish 2nd prize, but Murphy's Law dictates that they get 6 and/or 8 on GOW more then once due to bad luck).


4) TheBoy / Talrand (Highly underrated but slightly outclassed in this Tier 1 Division).

5) Lux / Big D Goblin
6) Knitter / UN4


Tier 2 ;

1) Cavalo /Dobicon (team BR ftw)
2) Raz_ / Dudakurten (I would argue these guys could easily finish 1st, but Brazil will come through for the win.

3) Legend / Zoraxx (Legend seems good, idk Zoraxx, otherwise these guys could list higher).

4) Omed / Noobniko
5) Boogiemaster + Ally (Even Computer ally will help defeat 6) Team, np.
6) Kariu / Olengardd (odds are 99 to 1).

The number one complaint among new players is not being allowed to play. "nO way tO BaLaNce, wtf ban the noob". A symptom of the overall toxic behavior allowed to thrive on RU.
Xurnt was doing a good job trying to fix that before apparently hijacking the youtube channel.
We like to make fun of or kick people while they're down though, right?.


 Yeah, cause winning $10 prizes is more important then protecting potential new comers from the toxic garbage allowed here. They just want to have fun revisiting an old childhood game.  Do we even have Admins?. Are these our Admins?. Say what you want about Xurnt, but at least he was trying. What do the rest of you do, aside allow people to be verbally raped on RU both ingame and on the forums,  and entertain the thought of that being "normal shit talk" on a video game. Well it isn't. War2 is probably the worst.


I see people rediscover War2 on Discord and get excited about it. Then they come to RU and it's ruined for them. Winning a game of GOW, the same gow you played over and over for 20 years... winning that stupid game in that particular moment, is more important for you. So they get banned the following game if they were lucky enough to be allowed to play in the first.


We have zero moderation of toxic players. Where are the admins?. You already lost 10 respectful players for every 1 toxic player for the sake of precious "fReeDoM of SpEEcH".

Leading to the already dwindling community becoming further divided.
You can cry all you want about restricting speech, but clearly no one is willing to meet in the middle. So we ended up where we are today because harassment isn't taken seriously on RU.
New players see the toxic garbage and they don't understand or consider it normal and then leave. Like should I translate it into Sputnik so you understand it?.


So the old game is gonna die out with an old community. They have decided their own fate.
No other gaming Admin staff would allow the toxic garbage both in game and on the forums we see here.
  "FreeDoM of SpEEcH". Isn't a good enough reason to unban someone who was banned for being toxic. It shows lack of communication and professionalism from the admin staff.


Wait, let's deal with it when there's 15 ppl left online?. Lmao. Suddenly now it's an urgent issue.
I'd clean up this entire joke of a forum in a few days, remove  the racist shit, ban the racists and provide a clear definition of what toxic/racist behavior is and apply it within game.

But instead let's continue to ignore the elephant in the room. No other game on any other platform would allow what we see here. Meanwhile we have what, like 5 apparent admins who turn a blind eye to the elephant in the room. Because allowing a month ban on 1 toxic person is apparently worse for the community then losing 10 respectful members who were telling you the same story for years.



So there needs to be a clear definition of "toxic behavior" Or War2RU will continue to be allergic to new players... How big did the elephant in the room need to get before you're willing to deal with said issue?.
Every one gets a clean slate and fairly moderate. Your Admins ingame probably shouldn't be ingame players.
Or quite frankly they shouldn't be acting on emotion.


Kicking/banning needs to be removed from all public games. Don't want a noob to join?. - Set a password. Otherwise every one should be allowed to have fun and play. You should have been listening to people say that years ago.
You would have kept quite a few people. These aren't new ideas, but the feedback from a frustrated community who's concerns were ignored for years. You ought to start listening to them.

I would love to just do voice commentary with him watching a couple of both competitive and newb friendly games. If he gets back to you, my mailbox is always open.

I reached out to a Broodwar Remastered commentator recently. He states he's always looking for new commentary material. It could be a lot of fun if either of them respond. If not I may eventually make a youtube channel myself w/guest appearances/voice commentary from chill people within the War2 Community.

From the feedback I get, it is what the community wants/needs. Mind you I'd be looking towards once a month episode releases versus these guys who do it every week or every day. It is a little too time consuming and I have other projects on the go.

I'm not sure when said project would take off.. But.ultimately it would come down to who's willing to help me and/or want to be featured in said videos.

If you would like for us to do more voice commentary for a few games let us know. The more notice you give the better, as we are working with a few time zones between our little stream/voice chat.

If there are particular events you'd like to have commentators, let us know. Cel and I are usually able to cover games, but if you want Justin, Azazel, or TheGoodShepherd we would likely need a little more notice.

You seem to enjoy the 3 of us doing commentary, perhaps we can organize more events moving forward. Let one of our little pack know if you're interested Nox.

On pretty much any other game he would be permanently banned for only a fraction of what he does on a regular basis. I would have no issue with him being perm banned. Or muting all of his accounts so he cannot chat in public or whisper anyone not on his friends list. Blizzard mutes you for far less on their current games.

As for cancel, yeah, that guys one of the most chill people who never has a problem with anyone. Always enjoy playing with or against him.

An entire other server was created because of Van's behaviour.
The community is divided because of how toxic he is.

He should have been permanantly banned a long time ago.
If he acted even 10% as toxic on any other gaming community he would have been banned and account deleted long ago.

This conversation is long overdue. Action is long overdue.

Too many people get butthurt 24/7 and cry about current admins not resolving issues like stupid immature children when they don't get their way.
They then proceed to write a novel on the forums crying even further.


If an Admin ever retires maybe the community can vote for a replacement.
In my opinion TK may be a good candidate.

Hello!. To clarify a few things there are 2 different issues here;

1) There was a serious complaint/accusation that in-game admins
 can address.

2) No admin muted anyone on Discord. I did. I muted both Van and Babyshark.
These are two different issues.


  One has to be absolutely absurd on war2bne discord to get muted. As up until recently, I am only aware of one player muted before on discord. It was Yamon for trolling voice chats.

Both Van and Babyshark were muted on discord.
Their "dicussion" had turned beyond toxic on discord.

They were asked by me a number of times to address the issue  outside of discord with admins, given the seriousness and how heated it was.
@Lethal~Machete after both of them told me to screw myself, their "discussion" still continued for many pages before mutes were handed out.
There were multiple warnings given to take the issue outside of discord.

The situation became even more toxic after they were asked to stop and at the time a mute was necessary on discord. Both of them got a 3 day temporary mute.

The mute was not an admin decision, but mine as a Discord MOD.
I would make the same decison again.

I made this decision as a 3 day mute and reported the situation to the admins. Things were very heated and only going to become more toxic on discord. It needed to cool down and wait for an admin to deal with.
