We don't even have pure Capitalism.  We have a mixed economy where we have free enterprise being regulated by our government.  Most problems in the economic system we have today are caused by over-regulation and the manipulation of our currency.  Corporations are working in collusion with government officials.  Pure Capitalism would keep the economy and government separate.  Although we would see a great improvement in the system, I still despise it due to my own personal observations.  I've seen nothing but contradictions from people who seem as if they have good intentions yet they withhold the truth, lie, and manipulate all for the sake of making money.  Even so, they try to put it in a different light and try to justify their actions as if they haven't broken any principles they claim to hold dear.  Capitalism promotes nothing but self-interest and is not synonymous with any wisdom throughout our history that teaches good will.

Yes, pure Laissez-faire capitalism.  It hasn't existed but I wouldn't go as far to say that it couldn't exist or wouldn't be better than the current system we have.  All philosophies have unforeseen consequences and no doubt capitalism has it's fair share.  It's a contradiction of itself, but how?  Is that something you read online from someone else's perspective?  You state this claim yet you don't back it up.  I don't think you'll know either way unless you've seen this system in action first-hand.
