Who reads these posts?

I'm confused; this game has an average of 30 people on at a time daily, yet a post with as little as 2-3 total replies can have 2k views easily. Who are reading all of these posts? Buncha war2 players who don't play anymore that monitor this forum?

Let's say 100 people are currently playing, that means each person is looking at this post an average of 20x? And that's a lower viewed post.

A 10k post means 100 people are viewing this 100 times or 200 people are viewing this 50 times per person? Obviously, those numbers can't be true but a 4k post is more likely 300 people viewing it 13 times? That's a LOT of people. Even 200 is. Am I missing something? Are there a ton of people on here that don't log in ever?

I have a suspicion that it's bots used to up the views on posts to give the image that the community is bigger than it is but that's just conspiracy theory on my side , idk where all these people come from , it does puzzle me a bit like why would 50k people read some balancing idea i had? What's interesting for them about it? Why they don't show themselves and express their opinions? It's also possible they are "lurkers" they just see everything but never bother to speak or comment this can also be seen on social media sometimes a post has many many likes or views but the comments to view ratio can be something like 1 comment per 100 views.

The view counts everytime someone clicks on the post. If Harrywangs clicked 100 times it will show 100 views.

1) Combat edition noob questions- 2 replies- 1044 views- That's 348 people viewing it 3x. One for the post and 2 replies. Let's even say someone viewed the same posts 2x. That comes to 261 people still. If everyone viewed it 6x, twice per post, you still have 174 people viewing.

3) Memes- 1 reply- 1837 views- If you're looking at the perfect situation (obv its not) you have 918 people viewing the first post. EVEN HALF OF THAT is still 459 people. These sound like staggering numbers to me.

4) any actual good players on tonight that want to showcase the game on remasterd New- ZERO REPLIES- 2200 views. WTF.

5) Will WC2R ever get stats back, and or chat menu? New- ZERO REPLIES- 2000 views.

6) DADDY’S HOME- 1 reply- 3371 views

7) Added game mode with blizzard balance to serv New- 3 replies- 8084 views - 2000 people viewed each post. If everyone viewed each post 2x, you still have 1000 people.

8 ) Christmas gift for Goblin? New- 1 reply- 5394 views - If everyone viewed this 5x, you still have 1000 people viewing 1 post.


I can tell you right now that out of the current people actively playing probably ~20% use the forums. That may even be a high number. This is based on how nobody ever seems to know about tournaments, never posted/replied to a tag, when I ask people, or any major changes such as HD. When we do polls, we have maybe 10-20 people voting?

This means, IF there is no bot, that we have a TON of people who care enough to follow the game on here, never participate and choose to never log on. (thanks to you all for participating in killing the game vs logging on for even 1-2 hrs a week) Nobody has time, yet everyone is up to date on all the new shows out, lol. Personal rant, I digress.

the question STILL remains who is using these bots? And for what purpose other than promoting the site....there is shit ton of guests but where are they really? The only theory is they are russians....as russians usually create communities of their own without outsiders.

Every day there are new ads topics/posts to be approved that I am blocking . Probably other mods too. Maybe the same bots? No clue

It is bots.
Anyone with less than 5 posts needs to be approved by a forum admin in order post on here.
But yeah idk who but someone does make posts here daily but they can't post their ads due to restrictions.

2 weeks ago i was deleting shit ton loads of posts, there was lile 3-5 cursed ads in EVERY fucking forum category
