Plans for the future if everything goes as I expect.
« on: November 23, 2024, 04:57:21 AM »
We will return the game to its previous form. It will be more interesting to play. We will be able to raise the online, and make a new ladder, I think Mistral and perhaps iL will help with this. We have the right to request.

Goes as expected ? Man no blizzard would do anything but publish a good RTS remaster.

Also can you do all those things on the remaster client? Be hella funny if fans take better care of blizzard own games than blizzard itself...

This community takes better care of this game, it has been proven for years. And at the moment this game client is 3 times better than the remastered. If you evaluate subjective opinion, then 5 times.

In order for something to go as expected, time must pass. The post is a few hours old, and the time estimate is for a week+
I need feedback from our community, not baseless criticism and comparison of the best with the original. The game is better than the original because it is built on it and equipped with additions, and no matter what the ladder was, it was considered authoritative for a long time, and if you want, you can look at the number of matches played between any one and another player, the number is crazy. And only 1v1 is taken into account there. Imagine how many matches have been played on this server, including team 2v2 3v3 4v4. You will be surprised, but there is no point in comparing here.

1. Ladder that counts from the moment of the update

2. Ladder that also counts games before the update.

I don't have programming knowledge, but I have friends who do. And thanks to them, if they have time, I hope we will improve the ladder by 3 times, and I guarantee it if they are ready. After all, the implementation plan is already ready.

Nothing has happened in 20+ years, I came to the game at the age of 13, and it lived. Online practically does not change here, everyone is ours. But I also came up with a system to simplify the adaptation of beginners. The stars must coincide here. A large number of new players must enter the server, because there is no one to play with. There are always high-level players online, as well as average ones, but beginners leave because they are not ready to endure what I endured when I got here. You are banned, you are called names, but I was interested in becoming strong and defeating everyone, because their words mean nothing after your victory. Beginners have to play either with average players, or not play at all, since it is almost impossible to enter at the same time with a player of the same level, they do not exist here. Masters and GrandMasters ban them and this is naturally correct. According to their concepts, beginners understand this too. And they leave. So, considering the overall online growth of the game, it is necessary to adapt the resource to new people, which is what I have just started doing.

As for Warcraft 3, I have not played this crap. I am not interested in such things. The game is frankly bad. Warcraft 2 is legendary. Nothing compares to it.

Well this is common in old games like this to find the community be a bunch of people who been playing since the game came out and you can't compete with them since they are miles ahead of you.

As such what sort of new players will be here? Barely any lol war2 is an old game that barely anyone of new generation knows nobody is interested in playing some rusty game from 95 with all its weird gimmicks when you have way more simple things like call of duty...

I disagree on warcraft 3 from an objective point of view its gameplay aged a lot better than warcraft 2 thats not to say warcraft 2 is a bad game but the game could be a lot more if properly taken care off instead of whatever we have now we can have more.

You're talking about Blizzard. I agree. But what the developers of this server are doing is incredible.

And how do you expect people to find warcraft 2? Or this server? By interacting with blizzard products I doubt anybody would just think about googling the word "warcraft 2 forums" or something like that when he isn't even aware of warcraft being a thing nobody would go to another server at first glance only if he finds the official servers be crap that he would look for an alternative which is where he would most likely find this place
