Looks like a lot of players are gone but heaps of inactive names remain, so no one can in theory climb the ladder. Needs to be wiped totally clean to work.

Don't worry, we are not erasing your wins/losses, or your game history.  You'll see it's all still in there. 

Yes though, I am seeing that some ranks were not fully reset or not reset properly.  We will work on that.

I'm attempting to make this special Summer Ladder Season be gow free! 

the ladder should be counting BNE maps only, but not counting garden of war.   so i think it's correct it didn't count that game. right now i think gow BNE counts but we will remove that too in just a moment.

Looks like the ranks still aren't working quite like we want them.  We'll get it sorted out though... but just know if you're trying to get started on the season, that while games will be recorded, they won't get the rungs up and going yet.

my suggestion is you gota make it more unique from normal ladder to make it interesting

i suggest every player can play every player in this league 3 or 5 times u don't have to complete all 5 games but premotes playin more

 the top 4players with most wins have play off with the same standard maybe 7 games each

this also premotes more active players the chance to win the league

there should be stats like the old league i made that you deleted the thread blid (back up stats this time)


i can help with stats just need a good reporting and fact keeping systen

so list for stats

Both players starting postion and strategy day 12, 2RAX RUSH, etc
what tier the game got to ( fort) etc other stat ideaz to be discussed


then at end i can work out what strategy won most. spot vs spot win ratios etc

this way also keeps communitu interested on other players outcomes
 and a deeper insight into match up imbalances
get jstin n others to cover league games etc

Koorb I think your idea is more in line with a league- also can be cool. This is just a “season” of the ladder, so it’s a lot like the regular ladder on purpose .

Yeah, so there's two things:
1) We're only currently counting non-GOW BNE/classic maps.
2) The rungs currently need fixing.  We need to make it so unranked players (which will be everyone) get slotted into the ladder after they play a game that counts.  iL said I'm more familiar with the ladder so asked me to do it, but the ftp login info he sent me didn't work, so he tried something and I still can't get in.  I apologize for the delay.  Not 100% certain but I do think I can fix it quickly once I get access.

Very sorry it's taking so long!  my initial assumption was that it would already rank people correctly, as long as their current ranks were null.  But I think instead the code adds unraked people to the ranks correctly when they play their first game, not when their rank is null, so I think I just need to add like "|| rank = null" to the new player section of the code... and then reset everyone back to null ranks again.

Dont waste ur time nobody cares about the ladder since you remove the best map of the entire game.
