1984 is real?
« on: November 27, 2020, 12:53:19 AM »
Anyone else notice digitized records being changed with out any notice?
Star Trek Voyager the original I own has season 2 episode 19 date song The Platters
My Prayer, then i’m watching it on Netflix they randomly changed the song to the Flamingos
on his date instead. Noticed this in a few other movies… Maybe they’re trying to save a few bucks
paying royalties or it’s a creative license, but it sets a creepy precedent. Hard to trust a sole
digital repository like the 1 that stored all the War2 videos Burnt deleted. Anything of value must be downloaded to preserve history before everything is digitized and altered!!!

There are some real world examples of WAPO and NY Times changing articles with out notice of retraction. Maybe nobody else notices small shit, but this could eventually translate to big shYIt
