None of you can host it as ssh is probably a sexy sound from porn to all of you. IL is knowledgeable enough and normal enough to be the only person hosting it. In small communities like these, if you have a missfit abandoned child (tupac) you will always have issues as most normal people don't have enough time to deal with child like personal issues someone might have. The same reason you don't mess with a local loony in your neighborhood. Could you fuck him up? Yea. But his whole life is in shambles that you might become his obsession and no one normal is willing to waste life on some loony goon. Something like that is with tupac. His basement is very big, and very dark. So dark you probably never seen so much darkness, and that's all he has. Everyone else has at least something else to cling on to.
So yea, so long as ssh is a sexy sound to you, don't host shit.
Or well, cash in for a dedicated managed server. You don't have to know shit and it will always be up. The lone child's basement googling won't be enough to harm such a server and hosting will always keep you up. But once you see prices on that your enthusiasm for "hosting" anything will splash rather quickly (and obviously, such a server is a huge overkill).
You could shop around for managed vps. That's more doable pricewise, but again, once people's enthusiasm goes away (which is usually 2-3 months bills) bickering about who will pay will start, who's contributing more, who doesn't have enough money because, insert random fake rason, mom got in carcrash, granma has funeral, corona kiled his boss... and you'll have the same discussion as you are having now. And yea, managed vps will have issues or won't depending on the hosting you pick. Good host will be pricier but will keep you up, bad one will keep upselling you to pricier vps's.
So that is why in small communities like these you have the setup you have now. A normal person hosting it, and normal person paying for it, however, attention span of both is lacking the needs of the small community.
