To be honnest i think you are both about the same skills, hes probably a little bit better since hes have mores tools in his pocket then you.
I feel like your maybe a bit better if we talk about early game, like neighborg war, rush ot cats and shits like that, but even there you almost about the same, not a huge difference.
But in mid game and late game hes like 2 times better then you.
He got a better power, better dual, better expand, better control mapping, better diversity and creativity.
Now if we talk about the fact that he dodge you, maybe it's because he dosent like to play 1v1 and he dont enjoy that, did you ever seen esn making 1v1?
Hes a team game player, if you join is team game creation and harrasse him for 1s and calling him newb because he dont wanna 1s, it's just harrassing, you know hes not a 1s players and he dont enjoy that at all.
But even if he dont like enjoy 1s and he dont wanna play you 1v1, that dosent mean you are better then him and I TELL YOU.
