insight autorecord how to set it work?? i have v.105

For some reason i can no longer open war2. I had 4.5 and the screen would just be black and shutdown after 5 seconds. So i updated to 4.6 and same thing. Whats up?

Desinstall every versions and every folders included the one you just install and reinstall.

When you delete old folder, make sure to keep your screenshots if needed before you delete.

As soon as you double click the War2Combat Launch icon on the desktop to open war2... start clicking the shit out of your mouse on the screen. see if that works. seriously

I think that used to be a feature because you couldn't see the password of the game with the old version of the plugin+older combat. But yeah, now it isn't needed anymore and the plugin should be updated so the minimap doesn't disappear anymore when you type

No idea, but i'd say try to change options:
1. ddraw: Try to use ddraw config tool: switch between GDI, OpenGL, DirectDraw.
2. plugins. Also try to switch between options of exe: clean, gog, plugins.

At least good steps to localize the problem.

So it used to work before with 4.5 and then all of a sudden it stopped working?

Much obliged for a new version, here's some issues I've found.

What's not good?

1) Map Editor has stopped working, at all. Even my old one in an old WC2 folder, I haven't touched any tome.1 files or something, this window just popped up.

3) Also there are some glitches when you making a game in those drop-down list boxes (game type, resources, 4v4, etc...). Like when it was with old DDRAWs.

What's good?

Insight 1.04 with an autorecord script works well.
The latest non-glitch WarVideo also works well.

So I'm staying on 4.6 version, hope I'll fix my map editor somehow.

1. make sure you checked the checkbox "map editor" in installation options.
It actually installs map editor if it haven't been installed already, but it not be checked by default if map editor is already installed (and probably broken).
2. That it a feature, not a bug. Questions to Lambhops, it's his plugin.
3. As i understand that's related to ddraw. If that is a problem, try to copy "Warcraft II Config.exe" from previous combat and run it, selecting GDI (or OpenGL). That will overwrite previous ddraw.dll.

But the cursor(Orc Hand) must keep drawn OVER the map image, elseway it will be bad and uncomfortable appearance.

Ive been using 4.5 for awhile and everything was good. Then randonly 1 day it just goes black when i try to open. So i figured i need to update to the 4.6 but it does the same thing. Nothing was changed on my comp
