The US is escalating tensions with China again I see. ("Radio Free Asia" is a US government funded propaganda outlet whose purpose is to weaken and destroy China.) Who knows how much of this stuff is true or at all significant, but on the subject of human rights, the US has the largest prison population in the world, and the highest per-capita incarceration rate, and should stfu.  China is doing better than we are.

I've only browsed these headlines, but none of it seems outside of what I would expect from the Chinese leadership. To understate the obvious they are not fans of free speech or free thinking.

Last time there was a big protest in China they called in the army, then very publicly killed all the protesters, bulldozed their bodies into large piles and burned them.

Pretty hard to miss-read that message.

But the west still trades with China en masse because we all like our cheap electronic gadgets more than we dislike genocide.

Everyone go count the number of times the words "Made in China" are written in the room you are sitting in now...
