Also everything you posted is just American exceptionalist platitudes there's not really anything to discuss.
Platitudes, perhaps - they are more likely to be heeded than rampant mud-slinging, but "exceptionalist"?
I believe listing American atrocities along with those from other nations all over the world and stating that they are all unacceptable is in no way "exceptionalist". Attempting to infer that these crimes are somehow exceptional because they have been committed by Americans is.
The people who are in the best position to make a difference about these things are Americans. If you want to be ignored, just keep hurling insults.
It's all the bullshit about how sure, America might objectively and demonstrably be a bloodthirsty empire that has wrought more carnage and suffering on the world than any state before it, but, heck, those Founding Fathers sure were trying their best and sure were great guys (ignore the slavery and native genocide lol),
Wasn't slavery abolished? Isn't that the point? The native genocide was committed but the european settlers who originally invaded north america? The question marks are genuine. I'm definitely not an expert on American history so I may have some thing wrong idk.
I thought the US was founded after the civil war, and the anti-slavery side won it. When they founded their new nation the "founding fathers" wrote a constitution for it that was based on freedom and equality for all. This is a good base for the laws of a nation.
and we are just such a plucky country, well heck, everyone makes mistakes sometimes right guys? 1 million dead Iraqis...just a little mistake, oops!
Indeed the US activities in Iraq is one of the many issues that I would like Americans to think about and consider what their founding fathers would make of this type of behavior.
The oil fuelled crimes are appalling. Do you know why the recent US invasion of Iraq took place? The western oil-money power mongers were angry that their puppet leader Saddam Hussein had stopped following orders. Hussein was put into power in 1979 by the west, mainly to counteract the radical religious leader in Iran, the Ayatollah Khomeini. The next year the Iran-Iraq war started in which Iraq was heavily backed by the US.
Saddam was their boy, make no mistake, and when he stopped playing ball they were so absolutely
furious that they invaded Iraq. Yes, that was genocide organised by oil money in the US and UK. IMHO the whole business is a series of disgusting and appalling war crimes.
If you ar interested in the real story of oil in the middle east
Lawrence of Arabia is an interesting place to start. Then look into how
British Petroleum (BP) was founded.... they pretty much traded the arabs beads and blankets for oil rights. That is what its all about.
But George Washington was not involved in any of these crimes, and IMHO the US constitution remains one of the best documents of it's type in the world.
The actual country that did this is fine though. Oh Libya has gone from being a stable country and the wealthiest in Africa to having open air slave markets after the American invasion, haha oops! Oh no all these orphaned children at the border, haha oops, we tried our best though haha. Oops another person dead from lack of insurance, ah heck come on guys haha we're really trying hard!!! That last one is probably fake news because it's not from CNN btw lol!
Yeah that stuff is terrible. Someone should do something about it. Someone should make people think about what is being done in the name of their nation. How would you suggest doing that?
You wouldn't talk about a country like Russia or China the same way
This thread isn't about Russia or China, but if I was talking about them then you're absolutely right, I would say different things because they are different countries, but I would still have the same intent, which is to get people to think about and be interested in the actions that their country undertakes.
I believe very few people actually commit terrible acts in that knowledge, mostly they think they are doing the right thing. Raise your children better.
Making people aware and challenging them to think is the only way forward.

it's legit news story . it's easy to believe because it's america where this happens all the time. meanwhile your retarded ass believes north koreans worship unicorns and some other dumbass shit fabricated by foxnews.
Congrats on providing a better source for your story that the sensationalized meme. I'm still not sure how it relates to anything I posted. The US health care system is bad and needs fixing - no argument there.
it's you trying to inject your retard opinions in an attempt to involve yourself in a "reasonable discussion". it's an atrocious attempt at trying to defend your aids riddled bullshit borderline third world country.
Huh? Does Australia have high HIV rates? If that's the case I wasn't aware. Is that also a result of capitalism? Please share some more of your wisdom....
