Maybe both mass market pornography, which treats women as disposable commodities to be used and thrown away in service to men, and anti-sex religious morality, which treats women as permanent bio-assets to be used in perpetuity by men and kept in a state of submission to patriarchal authority, are bad.
I already dismantled the absurd notion of God who invented sex being opposed to His own invention. See above.
Calling a married woman a "bio-asset" is highly ignorant.
Ephesians 5:25 reads,
"Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her."
God calls husbands to love their wives self-sacrificially, even be willing to die for her as Christ was for us all.
No one will die for their property.
Normal, healthy parents both love their children, so it isn't reasonable to consider a wife a "bio-asset" since he is not the only one who is happy to bring about children. They both work together as a team to bring up children.
Yes, wives are called to submit to their husbands. This may bring to mind forced tyranny or servitude, rather than the graceful, willing spirit of surrender that is a gift a woman naturally wants to give to a man she loves when she feels he loves her.
Someone has to be in charge of every country, sports team, business, group, internet forum, and family.
God gave the job to the man. In my opinion, men have the harder job. Leadership that puts the needs of others first, which is true leadership, which requires hard work and courage and self-discipline, is an absolutely beautiful, admirable sight to behold.
Submitting to a loving leader is a woman's great joy and pleasure. I don't know of many greater feelings in the world than the feeling of submission and surrender in response to a worthy man's devoted love. You feel like you'd do absolutely anything for him.
Of course, we as sinful people mess it up. Men fail to love as they should. Women fail to submit as they should. It's harder to love a woman who has become hostile upon feeling unloved. It's harder to submit to a man when he seems unloving and indifferent.
God's grace and mercy is there for all of us. We find forgiveness in Jesus Christ for everything we've ever done against God and other human beings.
God can bring healing to the broken and restore us when hope seems lost.
God is good!
