As long as there is a way for the lower class to join the upper class it's not as bad as you are making it out to be.
By instituting social equality thru communism you stop people from striving to earn and higher earnings. The reason we have the technology and luxuries of modern society is because people from all social statuses dream of earning more money than they are currently making.

As long as there is a way for the lower class to join the upper class it's not as bad as you are making it out to be.

There's not.  While this individual or that one may succeed in upgrading their class status, there will always be an underclass because that's how capitalism works.  Everyone can't profit off other people's labor.  That's obviously a logical impossibility.

This is what they teach little children, but poor people having naive dreams of wealth attainment doesn't create any wealth.  The only thing such false hopes accomplishes is a more docile exploited class.

This idea that somehow everyone is going to to come together and share with each other because "it's the right thing to do" is a fantasy.

If a kid in america goes to college and obtains a degree in a field with high job prospects that individual will be able to live in relive comfort throughout his or her lifetime. Provided they didn't make overtly poor life choices over the years.
