(human cpu paladins may now be impossible to beat :P)

knights heal better its 1hp(maxed out cant go any lower) cost instead of 6..=a knight can heal a unit alot more hp at a lot less cost hp..running test on it..theres still one spot in the exe that allowed me to cast on buildings,if they can cast on self be a dam good alternative.

the draw back u got it ..its heal its a click fest.

ok back its not gonna beat lust head on..and no human can cast like the cpu..but in a choke a person could pull it off.

a good player could beat 9 orges in my thoery  :blank:

i like it alot better see what yall think.

lol if someone walled in their towns with mages and all that shit and constantly ran off their knights after every battle to heal them before they died it'd be pretty strnog and very annoying to fight against :P

Yeah sorry, have been reading all the posts.  I am going to try that later easy. It's healing buildings as well?

I have been just playing around on the use map settings(which is a pain since positions are than fixed order).

I did like the tier 2 suggestion about knights being stronger as a possibility with a buff to paladins slightly.   Obviously ballista would need a cost change due to flaw mechanics. 800/300 sounds more reasonable. Gave rangers an upgrade on weapons/exorcism and runes recost to 1k.

Have to go about the way easy and Tupac as well as lamby. Everything is hard wired into the .exe... the default settings as you would say.

I'll play with them later see if I can be any assistance, easy is on the right path though

There's a war2 mod with dwarves im sure you would fine by googling war2 mod database.

An easy fix would be to increase the cost of lust and maybe decrease runes, since humans do better later in the game with mages giving it a high cost would help, especially since exorcism is also more late game

Actually orcs are more powerful on every tier except 2.

Better cost on upgrades, catapult misfire less frequent.

Humans are better tier 2 only because of rangers being better with range.

Once you get to tier 3,'good luck. Better hope the opponent sucks or you can micro your balls off with knights to avoid lust battles.

yeah humans inviso is another unfair spell :P.

this is just a better heal,its stock no cant cast on buildings.

If you change the ballistas firing method inside the map file to fire catapults instead, it might fix the firing bug. Humans invis is op though... It's way better than orcs haste. :)

fix ballista bug
equalize the upgrades at blacksmith
reduce costs of archer/troll to 400g, add +1 base armor
reduce costs and upgrade times of all ranger/zerker upgrades (3k for troll regen > 500g)
give sappers the armor upgrades from smith
reduce cost of dragons to 2k
reduce cost of unused spells, upgrade times and research cost (poly,unholy armor, exorcism)
unholy armor overhaul, now vunerable to magic damage, but invincible to physical damage, lasts longer time, castable on sappers
increase cost of lust/reduce dmg multiplier
reduce cost of heal + make it aoe
haste now increases movespeed of sapper
remove cannon tower damage reduction at close range
equalize blizzard/death and decay damage
increase fireball damage, change damage path to the cast point

lusted ogres would still dominate the ground game, but at least humans could hold chokes with palis healing
archers now more viable for early game rushes (armor + lower cost)
sappers now more viable due to (up to 3+ additional armor vs guard towers and patrolling ogres)
more use of spells, worthwhile to upgrade to palis for humans
varied lategame strategies (dragons cost less, more spells viable

opens up a lot of options, of course this would all need several beta tests and coders but would really make war2 a lot more dynamic
