In 26 games for OKC Kanter averaged 18.7 ppg 11rpg. Regardless of his defense , OKC need him. Massive upgrade over Perkins.

they do need him, that's why they matched portland. you add another big in the paint who can score and rebound next to durant/westbrook, that's elite.

this should be a good season, just no more injuries ffs. last season was brutal with injuries.
but still no one challenging Cleveland in the east though.

yes... that's probably the only reason they haven't won a championship by now, they've had very little help for durant and westbrook. ibaka can't score like kanter. the guy only averaged 14ppg in an increased role with durant out, not sure why you bring him up when we're talking about scoring.

i don't know why jazz got rid of him for some shit second round pick but he was averaging career highs in points and rebounds for them. then he exploded in okc. scoring a career high 30 against dallas. and destroying his career highs in ppgs, rpg, and averaging over an assist a game too (averaging only .5 in utah) . this guy fucking averaged 5 offensive rebounds a game in his 26 games with okc, rofl. do you have have any clue had deadly that is with westbrook and durant on your team?

i know exactly why they got rid of him, that shitty sack of crap told them he was seeking the max, and they went "lol fuck no" and since they had no plans to retain him and he sucks they decided to move him

in 2014 no, they were losing to the spurs regardless if ibaka was 100% or not. in 2013 they would have beat memphis and made the wcf and lost to the spurs again. they needed someone who can board and score, ibaka isn't big in either of those areas.

kanter wont even be allowed on the court in the playoffs, he's too big of a defensive deficiency. 

so if you look at that series vs the spurs they lost the first two without ibaka, then won two, then lost two, the final one in OT.  if they had ibaka all series you cant really say what wouldve happened, but even more, that spurs team pasted the heat and was awesome in general.  the thunder didnt lose because of a specific weakness and certainly not one that enes kanter is going to fill.
