what the fuck

thought thompson would have led rebounding, he averaged 12.6 rpg. lebron had 13.3.

i guess that's a product of warriors small ball.

anyways solid series from thompson, hopefully he improves from this experience so him and wiggins can win gold for canada, owned.

lebron came within 0.1 pct of scoring the highest percentage of his team's points n the nba finals of all time

the only reason he didn't set the mark is because of those threes JR Smith canned when the game was all but over haha

is that even surprising? who else is going to score on that team? without love and irving he's forced to make shit happen almost every possession.

he shot less than 40% in this series, after game 1 he never had a good shooting performance. that's why iguodala is the fmvp. golden state had some hiccups in this series in a couple games but there was no doubting the superiority of their team as a whole. you're talking about a 67 win team in a stacked western conference. they would have won 80 in the east.

his fg% was bad all playoffs, not just vs GS

but what do you expect with GS, when they know they can throw their whole defense at lebron, course his fg% is gonna be low.

kawhi got finals mvp last year too for guarding lebron.  finals mvp is becoming the "guy who guarded lebrno" award

kawhi averaged 18ppg on 61% shooting in that series, with 1.6 steals and 1.2blks... his final 3 games of that series were monstrous. he did more than just guard lebron.

this has a lot of the makings of a fake story being pimped out for clicks

lebron's Body Language sure was something. in fact, one time he shook his head! another time the defacto PG/only-starter-quality-player on the team disagreed with a coach about a thing. another time he even called a time out!

I saw it from close range in my role as sideline reporter through the Finals for ESPN Radio. LeBron essentially calling timeouts and making substitutions. LeBron openly barking at Blatt after decisions he didn't like. LeBron huddling frequently with Lue and so often looking at anyone other than Blatt.

There was LeBron, in one instance I witnessed from right behind the bench, shaking his head vociferously in protest after one play Blatt drew up in the third quarter of Game 5, amounting to the loudest nonverbal scolding you could imagine.

Which forced Blatt, in front of his whole team, to wipe the board clean and draw up something else.

If Blatt gives a fuck about being looked at as a serious coach, he leaves.
