I always liked the social element best! Much prefer nonserious team games + playful banter to serious 1v1s

Have never liked the look of any of the fanmade 3D war2 remakes or war3, very unlikely I'd play a remake.

i remember when the rumours of warcraft 3 were making it's way down to new zealand, with amazing graphics and gameplay etc i couldn't wait. then it came out...
...it sucked.

i think it's uniquely one map that really has us by the balls. the accidental genius that is gow!

i like how cannons and catapults one shot ground units, i like how everything fits in a grid, i like the artwork, the lore

Never have really seen the graphics as old they just look normal to me.

Love the community, the chat, the clans. Anytime you log in you will see players you know for 10+ years and fun to run into people you haven't talked to in a long time.

Graphics rock! This game hooked me back in like 1999, I may sound crazy but i enjoy the community and friends i have made, and The game just reminds me of a more simple time when i was younger.

Glad to hear from everyone so far . Yeah I don't consider the graphics too out of date, tbh it's more like playing a game than a virtual reality( which you nigh as well go outside). Was built on atari64 Nintendo intellivision and all the old consoles commodore64 and apple computer. So this game is far more superb.

Swag I tend to agree with you on the units but I never really cared for the hero system and microong one unit specifically.  Not to mention the imbalance late game which is ranks spell breakers blade master and much more.  Warcraft 3 was fun in the beginning, more heroes viable, but everything gotnerf bat ?. Dk blade master the arch mate and demon hunter most played for a reason

If u didnt care about Hero or micro what lvl u had? I had 43 when first had 52 at europe. Bm was playing after 1.21 before u had FS + tc. Also i can say it was ud>hum but i had 80% wr vs ud

Humans are pretty op in war3, militia creeping with a water elemental tanking a gold mine camp and then speed building. In alot of professional 1v1s I hardly ever see orcs get Fortress too. Unless they're against Undead and need the blademaster to get an Orb to attack destroyers.

Night Elf has a bit more variety at the start since Warden is also a good start hero as well as demon hunter. Though demon hunter is very boring to play, specially if its Demon hunter vs Demon hunter. But elves are pretty bad when it comes to siege and defending against humans op siege tanks.

human were op only in 1.21 and it was towers, humans got low hp units but they cost only 2-3 (sorc 2, sb 3, grunt 3, fiend 3, dry 3, bear 4 etc)

only vs ud were op, what u needed where scouting what is human player doing and harras him all the time if he is doing tanks human player wont train another unit(expect gyro),so making mass air is stupid also ,dont let him exping hero def base with meat wagons + ziggurat with slow
