sorry for derailing ur thread benjamin. at least there was some entertainment. idc what happens to the post.

i just feel like people with the allstar/koorb/startale/van type behavior contribute to this communities demise .. people know how he is but choose to rationalize, enable, and accept because he is good @ war2, but ignore the fact that he had to use hacks initially to advance to that level, and ignore the fact that for every toxic player that the community enables, we're probably losing multiple players who ultimately decide it's not worth dealing with and move on to something else.

if you tolerate and enable toxic players, all you're going to be left with is toxic players.

Yeah he hacked and any "war2 accomplishment" of his is diminished accordingly but I've never experienced any of the toxic behavior that you're talking about. I think ST is a cool dude actually. Other people (YWFN) have said the same in this thread. Maybe you and him just have issues?

I'm sure he is able to tone it down when he wants. Based on what u and ywfn say I'm sure that's exactly what he has done... but no, other good "well respected" players have voiced the same opinions.. except they wait till st Logs off to say it. It's not just me.

I like Startale also obviously.  We wouldn't be able to make the vids/casts without it.

You are in a weird place right now tk.  You understand that your actions are childish yet rather than try to go about it in a different way you just double down and try to justify it.

There are a lot of people that you are trying to speak for when you say no one likes startale when it simply isn't the case.  I can name quite a few actually.  I'll speak for our circle and say that lux, swift, steve, vizz, serist, wg, and jordan(most of the time cuz jordan is a lover not a fighter) also like him.

See, I just don't buy it.  I remember distinctly one time Startale and I were the only reasonable people on and he challenged me to a KOTH style match instead of a GOW fest.  I suppose he might have done it because he knows me well enough to know that's exactly the kind of 1v1 I actually do like and can't resist, and wanted to play, but we had a reasonable long competitive series laughing and joking throughout all the games just like classic war2 should be.  There was friendly trash talk but nothing like you describe.  Of course Startale would slaughter me in a GoW only series but he didn't seem to care about that.  None of the behavior I would expect from the type of person you are describing.  This has been my experience over many matches, allying him and playing against him.  No rage quits.  No blaming allies.  It's like he's an upgrade spb. I feel like he's kind of exactly the opposite of what you're talking about.

This would not be a realistic test because the outcome of those games would be very different then when he was your ally.
