Ever watch 2 lvl 1 grunts fight?

or 2 units of the same level ... and maybe you see Orange ogre hit White ogre first, but white ogre wins the batter... and then wonder why?


i'm like 99% sure whoever is further along in tech (upgrading to lvl 2) wins the battle, even though it's not actually lvl 2 yet.

i havent tested it, but i bet when 2 peons fight the way the winner is determined is by who has more peons (i could be wrong on that one though)

this doesnt have much to do with actual numbers

you need to know that basic dmg is 0-X and piercing dmg is X/2 - X.
1-5 translates into 2 piercing dmg (1-2) and 3 basic dmg (0-3). Then you can calculate total dmg done by taking targets armor into the equation.
That is also why bloodlust is not a flat x2 or x3 damage amplifier, but works differently on different units and different targets

I once trolled people by talking about how, just like you can repair a building under construction to make it build faster, you can also repair a town hall while it's upgrading and it will upgrade faster.  Someone actually started attacking their own town hall to try it out (may have been tk)

Test the grunt theory. If 2 grunts (both same lvl) encounter eachother at same time, but one just started upgrade, and other is half way finished with upgrade, the grunt further along in upgrade will win
