$100 Tier 1 tournament October 9th - November 6th

koorb is perfect example.. dude has been afk for like a year or more, logs on and will eat at least 5-6 of those players for breakfast.

the players on that list haven't gotten better.. their competition just stopped playing.

kinda takes a shit on the whole "tier 1" concept... and koorb has never been considered a tier 1 player.

i thought the whole idea of breaking people into tiers was to group people who were able to compete with other people

some of them are just flat out literally not able to compete with other people on the list in 1v1's

5-2'd yamon after over a year break.. the rust is wearing off. another 30-40 1v1's and he's fine.

Anyway its not just me working hard on this tournament. Moustopher and ritilin are helping and working hard to. If you can find a productive way to contribute please do.

i think the tournament is a good idea... calling it a "tier 1" tournament takes away from actual tier 1 players is all imo ... if i had permission from my wife.. i could literally play 4-5 hours a day for a week and be able to compete in this tournament and i know damn well im not a tier 1 player and never have been.. even a tier 2.. i'd be lucky if i were ever considered tier 3... at least not prior to sept 2016

Like I already said we are focusing on players that are active and playing now. Not players that played 10 years ago. For 2016 I dont think its unfair to call this a tier 1 tournament. Not all the players in the bracket are tier 1. But they are all good active players
