[solved] cant host games 6112

I keep getting the message to open port 6112.

I have att router and go into firewall > Nat/gaming > custom services >

global port range: 6112
base host port: 6112
protocol: both

I read this topic forum.war2.ru/index.php/topic,385.0.html but am unsure of where to look for real ip.

I downloaded War2Combat401.exe when I installed game.

Did u try resetting ur router by hitting the reset button using a paperclip in the back of the router?

Hi Ramu.  Is it possible for you to upload screenshots of your port forwarding settings and IPv4 settings?

Hey you the guy from last night I was helping.

A screen shot would be nice indeed. After you have port forwarded don't hit reset on the router I repeat if you do that you would need to report forward. But you can remove the power from it for about a minute and turn it back on.

Now do you have two box total or is it a modem/router?

You double checked for the correct IP4?

Firewall on computer disabled or pass through for war2?

Go to canyouseeme.org scan port 6112. Does it say closed?

Okay if you would like a remote session I could assist and check it out. Get team viewer and pm ID and pw.

You need to look how your Internet is setup. Cable from the wall to a box then to the wifi box? If this is true then login to the modem to and lower firewall settings.

Use Anydesk tupac, it's much much faster than tv & no install necessary.

re ports, shane someone msged me today saying he had configured port forwarding n it worked, then he upgraded to the latest War2combat and couldn't host anymore. upnp conflict maybe? iL mentions here to disable upnp in the router to prevent possible conflict when using manual port forwarding: http://forum.war2.ru/index.php/topic,2048.msg35801.html#msg35801

I can testify to that. I have used both TV and anydesk and anydesk is definitely faster to give remote access control.  Mousey helped set up my stream and troubleshoot a few times using anydesk! [emoji4]
