For the record I am completely technologically retarded. How do I change the title for each stream? Can I do it after the stream is done? Does anyone check this thread? Hello?

add a black screen? So that if you're taking a break or something your viewers will view a black screen?

and where do you want to change the title? on your twitch account after the stream has already ended?

U8 said he uses a black screen if he goes to his desktop so viewers aren't seeing his desktop which makes sense. Not sure how to do that though. Also can't you name each stream? Say I play 1v1s on that stream cant I name it 1v1s etc? Or do they remain nameless?

New to this so trying to make it look good. As you can see in my streams you can see me during on OBS etc. Looks newbish

Title you can change whenever you want, i change settings with mobile phone, its easier and faster

About black screen hard to answer for me since i got polish version obs xd


you need make display capture, w2 is too old to use game capture, go settings hotkeys you got start/stop streaming and, scene hide and show

If any of you have been watching my twitch, theBARAMAN. You will see me streaming multiple games, such as wc2, wc3, sc1, sc2. So I'm wondering do any of you play those other games? Would be funner to play with someone as opposed to with randoms. Watching pro streaming on sc2, wc3 has brought back the itch for me to play those games again. I often log on to RU and see no games/players so I go play those other titles for 1-2 hours. Let me know

Does anyone have a current optimized list of settings for current versions of OBS?  I updated my OBS software and ever since then I can't stream or my PC lags out.

I'm sure it's something in the settings, but I've scoured and I can't find what's causing the issue.  The old step by step is helpful but not all the settings line up completely with the new software.  Any tips or advice would be welcome.

You didnt say what is problem? Error? Black screen? Did you try google problem?

Hey u8 thanks for the reply!

It just lags out.  It gets REALLY choppy to the point that the mouse barely moves, and I either lag out completely or I have to force close the War2 application because it freezes.  I can't tell if it's network side or PC side, but I feel like it's network side, as single player I can stream without AS MANY ill effects.  But it still lags it a bit in single player too.

Just wanting to confirm I have the OBS settings optimized for this game before going down too many other rabbit holes.
